Shimla mall road is the main road constructed during the British colonial rule. Major structures like the Town hall, police headquarters are located along the mall road. This road is pedestrian road, where today tourists spend most of the time exploring and shopping along it. The mall road becomes the major tourist attraction with cafes and shops sprawled along its edge.

The project involves restoring the road creating homogeneity and harmony through treatment of open spaces, major and minor connections, small corners and edge connections along with street furnitures.
