Water, a precious and indispensable resource, is crucial for sustaining life on Earth.

However, due to factors like pollution, over-extraction, and climate change, water bodies are facing unprecedented threats. Conserving these precious water resources is not only essential for ecological balance but also for improving human well-being.

SOLUTION & Beneficiary
By using nature-based solutions and bioremediation, we can restore the health and vitality of our lakes, ensuring a more sustainable and resilient future for both humans and aquatic ecosystems.
RESULT EXPECTED
Reducing BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) levels in lakes not only improves water quality but also has far-reaching benefits for ecosystems and communities. Cleaner water supports a diverse range of aquatic life, leading to increased biodiversity.

Additionally, reduced pollution can enhance groundwater recharge, ensuring a sustainable supply of freshwater for domestic and agricultural purposes. Furthermore, healthier lakes can provide more recreational opportunities, boost local economies through tourism, and contribute to mitigating the impacts of climate change. By addressing the root causes of water pollution and implementing effective restoration strategies, we can safeguard the health and vitality of our lakes for generations to come.
BENEFICIARIES
The improved water quality and ecological balance in lakes will directly and indirectly benefit 1-1.5 lakh people. The rejuvenation of these lakes will not only enhance the quality of life for local residents but will also positively impact the environment and the well-being of the residents. Cleaner water has led to improved health, increased recreational opportunities, and a more sustainable water supply for both communities.
